Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Found by a Crowd (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

This agreement is between you and ZP Ventures, the operator of Found by a Crowd, based in the United Kingdom.

Service Description

Found by a Crowd is an AI-powered referral recruitment platform that connects employers with talented candidates through trusted professional networks.

For Employers

  • Post job opportunities with associated bounties
  • Access candidates referred by our network of professionals
  • Utilize AI matching technology to find relevant referrers
  • Manage hiring processes and bounty payments

For Referrers

  • Discover job opportunities matching your professional network
  • Earn bounties for successful referrals
  • Access AI-powered job matching based on your expertise and connections
  • Track referral performance and earnings

AI Technology

Our service uses Claude AI to analyze job requirements, referrer profiles, and network connections to optimize matches between opportunities and potential referrers. This technology helps ensure relevant and valuable connections for all parties.

User Responsibilities

Account Registration

  • Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Post false, misleading, or discriminatory job listings
  • Make fraudulent referrals or misrepresent candidate qualifications
  • Attempt to circumvent our AI matching system or bounty structure
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users of the platform
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

Referrals and Bounties

Referrer Responsibilities

Only refer candidates you genuinely know and believe are qualified for the position. Ensure you have the candidate's permission before submitting their information.

Employer Responsibilities

Pay bounties promptly upon successful hire as defined in your job posting. Provide fair consideration to all referred candidates.

Intellectual Property

Our Content

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of ZP Ventures and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (job postings, profiles, etc.). However, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content for the purpose of providing the Service.

AI Training

Important: While we may use anonymized and aggregated data to improve our AI matching algorithms, we do not use your personal content to train external AI models without your explicit consent.

Trademarks

"Found by a Crowd" and our logo are trademarks of ZP Ventures. You may not use these trademarks without our prior written permission.

Payment Terms

Bounty Payments

Employers agree to pay the specified bounty amount upon successful hire of a referred candidate. Payment is processed through Stripe and is subject to their terms and conditions.

Service Fees

We charge a service fee on successful bounty payments. Current fee structure:

  • Platform fee: 10% of bounty amount (paid by employer)
  • Payment processing fees as charged by Stripe
  • No fees for job posting or referral submission

Disputes

In case of payment disputes, we will investigate and make a determination based on available evidence. Our decision on bounty eligibility is final.

Limitation of Liability

Important Legal Notice

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ZP Ventures shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Any loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
  • Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or personal information stored therein
  • Any damages resulting from any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our Service

Maximum Liability

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount of fees you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ZP Ventures from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of our Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice
  • Perform maintenance that may temporarily interrupt Service availability
  • Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from Service interruptions.

Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at hello@foundbyacrowd.com. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease, but these Terms will survive to the extent necessary to resolve any disputes.

Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we deem harmful to the Service or other users.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease. However, pending bounty payments and obligations will remain in effect until resolved.

Governing Law

Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

EU Users

If you are a consumer based in the European Union, you benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by email and by posting a notice on our Service.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
